MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Jun 30

Bad weather most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Very bad weather from 1930 until 2300.

Observing Summary:

Like last night a strong thunderstorm moved over the site around sunset and
continued until at least 10:30 PM.  There was intense lightening and rain.  Lightening
shutdown procedures were followed before the storm began.  I took the next
observer, Mark Reynolds, through the procedures in case he needs to shutdown 
during his upcoming run.  Skies had not cleared by 2 AM.  Satellite showed extensive
cloud cover over the region and I decided to call it a night.
