MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 May 04

Worked for 8 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 8 until 1:30.
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm
   Mid: Overcast, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

The start of the night was rough with high cirrus turning to more substantial, thicker clouds.
I returned the telescope to zenith and closed the mirror covers from midnight until 1:30.
Once the clouds cleared, the seeing was good and stable for the rest of the night.
I had no trouble otherwise.
