MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 May 17 Observer(s): D. Milisavljevic Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: CCDS Worked for 4 hours (first half of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Overcast, Winds Calm End: Overcast, Winds Calm Observing Summary: I did a lightning shutdown in the early afternoon because of a storm that passed through. Nothing serious, I just played it safe. I ran into a few hitches bringing the computers back online (namely getting CCDS to function properly), but I managed to get things working again. Internet connection was lost late afternoon. I called Bob who suggested that I restart the T1 Router. That seemed to do the trick. Thanks Bob!!! Overall I only managed to observe half of the night. Cloud cover became too think around 1am so I closed up and didn't reopen for the remainder of the evening. A big thanks to Bob and Paul who helped me out considerably this run. See you in June! ------------------------------ Submitted on 2009 May 18 [3:24:08]
