MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Sep 04

Worked for 2.5 hours (off and on through the night)
Bad weather most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Rain from 0300 until 0630.
   Beg: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable, thunder storm
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

We took sky flats at the start of the night, then had to close.
Then we had to do a lightning shutdown.  then we opened around 11:30.
Then we had a lot of trouble starting CCDS.  Then we observed standard
stars around 12:30 - 1:00.  Then we tried to observe targets starting
around 1:00.  However, the conditions were very on and off.
We only got about 30 minutes of marginally useful data.
