MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Sep 22

Worked for 10 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

A clear night with variable seeing. The ambient temperature
cooled down by more than 10C over the night, and the mirror
temperature ended up being warmer than outside. This, plus windy
conditions, resulted in bad seeing after midnight.

The mirror cooling system did not come on in the morning. It
gives the error: Sensors seem to be malfunctioning.
