MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2010 Apr 21 Observer(s): Matthias Dietrich Institution(s): OSU Instrument: CCDS Worked for 4 hours (first half of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Humidity from 02:00 until 5:00. Beg: Seeing 3-4 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm, overcast ~21:30 Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm, at ~2:00 hum. >85% End: Cirrus, Winds Calm, high humidity >85% Observing Summary: At the beginning of the night the sky was basically overcast. At around 21:30h the sky had cleared up - open dome. Five targets and two standard stars were observed before the humidity was exceeding 85% at around 2:00h, the dome was closed. For the rest of the night the humidity was above 85% up to 93% at the end of the night. The seeing was quite bad at the beginning of the night with about ~3 to ~4 arcsec. It improved to about ~2 arcsec around midnight. The pointing of the telescope was with 10 arcsec and the auto- guider worked fine. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2010 Apr 22 [5:01:49]
