MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2010 Dec 01

Worked for 9 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Observing went remarkably well, given that it was a training run for two of the three observers, and we arrived on the mountain at 7pm after a flight delay.  

The night was spent conducting spectroscopy w/ Modspec; the instrument performed quite well, with no failures over the course of the night.  We did have issues with the guider, which reduced us to manual guiding for an hour and a half, but ultimately a re-initialization of xmis seemed to solve most of our problems.
