MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2010 Jul 11

Bad weather most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity from 2:45 until --.
   Beg: Overcast, Winds Moderate, thunderstorm
   Mid: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm, high humidity

Observing Summary:

The night began with a powerful thunderstorm -- we did a lightening shutdown. 
Thick clouds persisted until about midnight. We had a really great 2.5 hour window or so,
with excellent seeing, during which we obtained some useful data. Around 2:45am the humidity
rose above 85%, and we closed. The humidity is still rising, and there is some condensation
in the dome. We have decided to shut down for the night.
