MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2010 Jun 25 Observer(s): Tobin Institution(s): Michigan Instrument: TIFKAM Worked for 9 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Had a great night, clouds stayed off to the east before going away later in the night. Observed 3 target fields in multiple filters. I am using the new guider and it has worked great, much better than the old tvguider. TIFKAM is presently stuck in the f7.5 imaging mode because of a damage control cable that was only found after installation. My imaging program is not significantly affected; however, it's not optimistic that I will be able to carry out the spectroscopic component. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2010 Jun 26 [4:09:21]
