MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2010 Mar 22

Instrument: Modspec + echelle CCD

Worked for 3 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Partly cloudy at sunset, but had some quite usable intervals
early -- never anywhere close to photometric.  Started testing
the Andor camera, using Andor's Solis software and hand guiding.
It worked well.  Heavier clouds rolled in around 10:30 PM, so
I closed; conditions then deteriorated rapidly and there was some
light rain around midnight.
