MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2010 Mar 24

Worked for 11 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from start until 9 PM.
   Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 1.+ arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:


Cirrusy to start, then clear for most of the night, but a little
cirrus in AM.  Seeing started out poor and became decent.  

One minor problem: Shutter control box came loose from its velcro
holder and fell off when I went far over to W.  I re-seated
the control box on its velcro, but a wire had pulled 
loose (from the blue terminal) so I lost an exposure when
the shutter didn't open.  I reattached the wire and it worked for
the rest of the night.  The dome worked correctly all night.
