MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2010 May 06

Instrument: modspec + echelle

Worked for 10 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing .8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing .8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:


An excellent final night - good seeing and transparency 
throughout  No equipment troubles, except that rotator 
reading went crazy once (this is a known, mysterious problem).

Dewar not filled at end.  

A special request - when the MIS is taken apart to swap cameras,
please take a bunch of pictures of the slit-viewing slide 
mechanisms, from different angles and so on.  Thanks!
