MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2010 Nov 14 Observer(s): E. Dauson & J. Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: modspec + echelle CCD Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 1-2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: A nice smooth night but with some bad seeing at times. At start, the trailing edge of a raft of clouds came through, leaving clear skies for the remainder of the night. Windier than usual, and a bit chillier. Mirror ended up just a little warmer than ambient.
