MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2010 Nov 22 Observer(s): Ondrej Pejcha Institution(s): Ohio State University Instrument: RETROCAM Worked for 6 hours (part of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Humidity from 9pm until 10.30. Beg: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable, high humidity Mid: Seeing 1.25 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Night started well with good seeing but high humidity. At about 9pm I noticed that humidity in the dome reached 85% and closed down (on my way down I noticed condensation on the van and closed the 1.3m too). The interruption lasted about 3 hours, because after the humidity decreased I had to first set up the 1.3m. I observed without problems until about 4am when my target was too low. Generally, there were intervals when the telescope wasn't doing anything, because I was setting the 1.3m, the first priority. On the overall, I think I still got useful observations. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2010 Nov 23 [6:22:27]
