MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2010 Oct 02

Worked for 8 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm, Storms until 8pm
   Mid: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

There were crazy thunderstorms all afternoon, so we did a lightning shutdown towards late afternoon.
Probably a good idea, since the power went out for awhile too and we were running on the generator. It cleared 
up around 9:30pm or so, and we opened at 10pm. It cleared up pretty well
and was photometric (or close to photometric) for much of the night. We had really good seeing, too! 

No troubles. All is well!
