MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2010 Oct 22

Worked for 1 hours (first half of the night)
Bad weather most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity from 2030 until 0530.
   Beg: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm, humidity passed 85
   Mid: Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

I was unable to complete any science observations due to combined
cloud cover and high humidity.  There was heavy cloud cover at the
beginning of the night.  Clouds cleared by 1930 MST, and I
opened and began aligning and focusing the telescope.  Humidity 
rose rapidly after sunset, and dome humidity passed 85% at
approximately 2030 MST.  I was only able to complete a single
standard star observation before this time.  Humidity remained in
the mid- to high-90 percentile for the rest of the night.
