MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2010 Sep 10

Worked for 11 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

I had some problems with the pointing tonight. Lost about three hours of data because I failed to check to see that the target was acquired since it was working so well the previous nights (assumptions should never be made!)

Eventually, I had to reset the encoders at Zenith and slew to a nearby star which was totally off the chip to the South.
