MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2010 Sep 13

Worked for 10 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

First night with the OSMOS; Paul Martini was here and helped
us get started.  Observed stars for Julie's thesis; tested
out software for speeding up target acquisition and centering,
and became fairly proficient.  The telescope performed 
especially well, I think the new pointing model helps.  Detector
noise problems persist (see trouble report).
