MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2010 Sep 20

Worked for 2 hours (all night)
Conditions were Overcast most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Overcast, Winds High, Lighting
   Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate
   End: Overcast, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Apart from weather issues, had some problem starting the new 
guider. Please see the trouble report.

Could not get any science data despite couple of openings and 
closings. Did not open at twilight due to overcast conditions.
Carried out a lightning shut-down around 7pm and powered back up 
after 8:30pm. Opened dome at 10:30pm and closed again at 12:00am 
due to clouds and high humidity. Opened again at 2:30am and 
closed at 4:00am due to clouds. Repeated loss of object / 
guide-star due clouds prevented collection of any science data.
