MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2011 Jan 02

Worked for 13 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

A night relatively free of technical problems, but partly cloudy
at times.  The OSMOS shutter stuck a bit shy of fully open
only two or three times.  The dx and dy functions of the MIS
occasionally failed to move, which is a critical error when
using OSMOS.  In order to cure this, I had to to first
move in the opposite direction desired.  Either that, or reset
the probe to the origin.
