MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2011 Jan 05

Worked for 2 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Replacement of the Hiltner computer was successful for the most part.  Thick cirrus 
at  sunset eventually thinned out to enable observing for a couple of hours before 
becoming overcast for the remainder of the night.  Due to operator error and some 
minor problems restoring functionality of the restored prospero scripts, only limited 
data was acquired but I do have a better understanding of the pointing situation with
OSMOS now.
