MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2011 Jan 26

Instrument: modspec + templeton ccd

Worked for 13 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds High
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Good clear night, but with poor seeing most of the time, and some 
windy episodes.  No trouble, but a few minor glitches:

1 - I'm not convinced that the motor mike is actually moving the 
  guider focus either way.  The seeing was bad, but not that
  bad ...

2 - For some reason xmis stopped responding to commands issued
  from CCDCOM.  Restarting CCDCOM cured the problem.

3 - The cooling fan in the RA/Dec stepper drivers box in the
  left rack is intermittently quite noisy.
