MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2011 Jun 28

Worked for 6 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 12:00 until 2:00.
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Clear at the beginning of the night, lightning and cloudy right after mid-night for 2 hours so we shut down for 2 hours. Mostly clear after 2am.

The same problem from yesterday remained but less severe (head electronics often time out and their readout was not correct, being tilted or curved).

We found if we continue doing bias, it helps sometime to improve the image.
