MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2011 Mar 31

Worked for 8.5 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

photometric night, seeing around 1.0 arcsec. Several BALQSOs were
observed and spectra were taken.
At around 4am the dome lost communication with the telescope and
blocked the view to the sky. The dome was moved to the home 
position by hand and also the dome azimuth needed to be re-set.
At this point the pointing of the telescope needed to be restored.
Otherwise the telescope and OSMOS worked very well.
