MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2011 May 19

Worked for 9 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

I moved slowly throughout the night, as this was my first night on the 2.4-m.
It took time to get the hang of the guiding system but John Thorstensen 
helped me over the phone (no problems were encountered; I just needed some 
guidance).  
Overall a good first night with >dozen M giants and 
experience with the telescope gained.
