MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2011 Oct 05

Worked for 5 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity from 3am until .
   Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds High
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds High
   End: Fog/Low Clouds, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Night began clear but with high winds. Observed until
midnight without any problems.

Around midnight, the CCD started showing increasing 
read noise, up to 200 counts dispersion (see trouble report). 
Tried a few things to fix the problem but with no success.

The window manager on Hiltner crashed around 2:30am, and 
the computer had to be rebooted.

Finally, humidity rose above limits after 3:00am. Dome was
closed for the remainder of the night.
