MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2011 Oct 16

Worked for 11.5 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

It was clear all night, although the seeing wasn't great (particularly at the beginning of the night).  Winds were higher tonight with an average speed of 10 -- 20 mph, gusting up to 25 -- 30 mph.

I took deep z-band images of about half of the high-z QSO candidates in my target list with some photometry of a spectrophotometric standard at the end of the night.
