MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2011 Sep 05

Worked for 3.0 hours (part of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Overcast, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

For the first half of the night the sky was overcast. During this
time bias and flat field spectra were taken. Around 0:30pm local 
time the sky started to clear up, at 0:45pm the dome was opened
and at ~1pm I could start observing. First, a standard star and 
then one BALQSO. However, the guide probe was lost several times 
due to clouds and at 5am I closed the dome. Due to clouds only 
part of the open time was useful.
