MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2012 Apr 24

Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 3am until 5am.
   Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Observations began with fair conditions. The DES z & Y filters were
used. The seeing was in the 1.2  to 1.7  range. Heavy cloud coverage
began at 3:00am; we decided to close the dome and wait for weather
conditions to improve. However the weather didn't improve at all,
and we closed at 5:00am.
