MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2012 Aug 31

Conditions were Mixed most of the night.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity from 1AM until .
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Some thunderstorms in the evening which dissipated after sunset.
Opened and observed starting at 8PM. Parallax observations of 
nearby M dwarfs, 7 targets done. Closed at 1AM due to high 
humidity, with some condensation showing up on the dewar window.

Highlight of the night is the problem with the guide probe
encoders, which show a large offset. See trouble report.
