MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2012 Dec 20

Worked for 10 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 7 until 11.
   Beg: Seeing 2-3 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing ~2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing ~1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Trouble:
At the beginning of the night (~6pm), Prospero could not talk to 
TCS and the Prospero Status Window showed  TCSLink  failed to 
connect (in red). We tried to 'startup' in Prospero but it did not
work. After rebooting the workstation and restarting everything,
the connection was re-established. Due to this problem we missed
the time window to take the twilight flats.

Weather:
it was cloudy at the first half of the night, and it turned clear
after mid-night. The seeing also improved slightly towards the
end of the night.
