MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2012 Jun 20 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 7+ hours (most of the night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable, Seeing was good. End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: The fiber to the Southwest Ridge is back -- so we can submit observing reports again! And the solstice is at 7:58 MST this morning. This was a beautiful night, but the dome rotation died again about 10:45 PM (see trouble report). After fussing to try to close the dome, I decided to keep going with the auto-dome turned off in the TCS, observing targets as they went through the available field, and that worked well. It was much too good a night to waste! ------------------------------ Submitted on 2023 Jun 21 [5:05:07] NOTE: This report replaces the previous 2.4m telescope observing report for 2012 Jun 20
