MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2012 Jun 24

Worked for 8-4.5 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

First I started everything up after the lightning shutdown yesterday (good thing I did that, it was thunderstorming all morning).

Then I had trouble with the IC, because rather than saving the images from the instrument, it kept re-writing the same two images over and over, with the same filenames, no matter what I did.  Also there were Disk Write Errors on the IC monitor.
However, I got it working by shutting down the IC and restarting the system.  After that everything was fine.

There were some clouds, and the seeing was poor, but mostly things were good.
