MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2012 Nov 06 Observer(s): Kathy Vivas Institution(s): Michigan Instrument: CCDS Worked for 10 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Clear, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: I lost some time at the beginning of the night because the guide probe did not want to move (details in the Trouble Report). Bob guided me to solve the problem. The problem repeated around 1am but I repeated the procedure given by Bob and it got quickly fixed. Besides that, everything ran smoothly with the equipment. Night was clear. Seeing around 1.2 (variable). Good data. For tomorrow, please change the grating to 350 l/mm, centered at 4500 A, order 1.
