MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2013 Apr 20 Observer(s): Hainline, Goulding Institution(s): Dartmouth College Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Fog from 19 until 01. Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: We had another productive night. Near the beginning of the night, we had some cirrus, but it cleared near the end of the night. We started by pointing at a target of Andy's, and got some narrow H-alpha imaging of this object. We spent the bulk of the night observing long-slit AGNs, and then finished by observing Jose Prieto's optical transient, both with imaging and spectroscopy. While the seeing was not as good as the previous night, it was all right. No problems to report. Pointing and tracking have been exceptional. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2013 Apr 21 [5:45:45]
