MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2013 Dec 27 Observer(s): Alex Gianninas Institution(s): University of Oklahoma Instrument: CCDS Worked for 12.5 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: I lost a total of about 30 minutes at the start of the night because I had to reconnect the paddle for the instrument rotator in the dome. However, once that was done there were no further technical issues. The guiding was a bit sluggish at the beginning of the night but it smoothed out as the night went on. All in all, it was a very productive night of spectroscopy. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2013 Dec 28 [7:17:15]
