MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2013 Feb 28

Worked for 11 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Winds from 2 MST until end.
   Beg: Seeing 1.5+ arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds High
   End: Seeing 1..5 arcsec, Clear, Winds High

Observing Summary:

First night of spectroscopy.  Clear, but with poor seeing at 
times, and then increasing winds that finally were gusting 
above 40mph by the beginning of twilight.  I noticed bits of 
stuff blowing in my flashlight beam, so I closed a little bit
early.  No equipment problems.

It might be good to check that the mirror petals came down in
order.  It was mighty windy when I closed them.  Also, I hope
I didn't get too much schmutz on the mirror. The CO2 wash sure 
is a good idea ...
