MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2013 Jan 20 Observer(s): Matthias Dietrich Institution(s): Ohio University Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from ~3am until 6am. Beg: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Observing Summary: This night 2 standard stars and 4 BALQSOs were observed. At the beginning of the night there was some cirrus all over the sky. Around 3am the cirrus had grown stronger and also some clouds moved in. These conditions were not useful for the BALQSOs which were about 17mag and fainter. The transparency was rather low with only stars brighter than 2 to 3 mag were visible.
