MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2013 Jan 29

Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity from 2:30 until End.

Observing Summary:

Beginning of the night humidity was low enough to open and begin
focus frames.  When the brightest star wasn't showing up on the
image, problem was diagnosed and fixed, turned out the finder
mirror had be in and blocking the FoV.  Once fixed, resumed focus
frames and found moisture on the detector from the last 4 days
worth of humidity.  Informed maintenance, continued periodic 
test frames to check if moisture had dried up.  The moisture
prevented getting any science frames during the first 2/3rds of
the night.  Around 2:30 am the humidity warning went off so
closed up for the night as the humidity trend continued to rise.
News from the 1.3 meter showed poor seeing, due to the high
humidity.
