MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2013 Jul 07

Worked for 2.5 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Overcast, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Completed lightning shutdown in the afternoon. No insurmountable
problems encountered coming back online. The AC computer acted
funny with an error message reading ``... sensors appear to be
malfunctioning.'' Called Eric to find that this is a known error.
Rebooted computer to resolve issue.

Night started with plenty of clouds. We opened around 9:15pm and
worked for a couple of hours observing SN targets. Conditions
became too poor to work and we closed around 11:15pm.

Opened again at 4:00am to catch one more target during twilight.
We just couldn't let this one get away.

Overall, obtained reasonable data despite the poor weather.
