MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2013 Jul 08

Conditions were Overcast most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Rain all night.

Observing Summary:

No observations because of rain and clouds all evening.

We did a lightning shutdown before dinner. Although we were not
in imminent threat, rain and distant lightning continued all
night so we did not boot up.

There were thick clouds and rain at 2am and the humidity in
the dome was above 85%; it was at this time I called it a night.
I filled the dewar at 2:30am. When I did so I noticed water
dripping in the dome in a number of places. 

Overall a reasonable run. Good data were obtained.

We thank the staff for support. Eric responded promptly to our
minor glitches along the way.
