MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2013 Jul 09

Bad weather most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Rain from 11:30 until 2:00.

Observing Summary:

No observations because of rain and clouds all evening.

I did a lightning shutdown at around 10 pm with lightning visible 
to the south and south-west. Localized rain and lightning began at 
midnight and light rain continued to fall for some time. Humidity 
levels only started dropping to safe levels near twilight so I 
did not boot up.

I first tried filling the dewar at 8:00 pm and the rubber hose 
snapped. With Eric's help over the phone I was able to re-attach 
the hose and successfully filled the dewar. I filled the dewar 
again at 4:00 am and called it a night.
