MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2013 Mar 11 Observer(s): McGraw Institution(s): Ohio University Instrument: CCDS Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Conditions were pretty good all night, some slight cirrus at sunset and small parts of the night. A minor issue was encountered when rotating the slit angle. I was rotating from -41 to 75 degrees, and around 60 degrees, the numbers on the TCS screen for rotator angle changed to around 600. After rotating to the maximum of +90, the numbers went back to normal. I only encountered this problem once. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2013 Mar 12 [6:01:51]
