MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2013 May 15

Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Overall a good, clear observing night.  At the beginning of the night at 7:55 pm, I had the telescope pointed at Dec of + 36 degrees and hour angle -2:15.
The TCS monitor displayed a message 'Dec Encoder not Responding', and I could not move or focus the telescope with the hand paddle.  Fortunately, this only
lasted a few minutes, then it started working again.  This issue did not occur again during the night.
