MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2013 Oct 07 Observer(s): Fesen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: CCDS Worked for 11 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 0.8-1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1-1.2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1-1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Seeing was exceptional during the first half of the night (and OK the second half) with seeing subarcsec for several hours. However, there was considerable cirrus clouds during the times of best seeing which often became heavy at times making observing fainter targets difficult. No instrument problems to report but the telescope doesn't set accurately over large slews. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2013 Oct 8 [6:48:08]
