MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2013 Oct 13 Observer(s): Rhiannon Griffin Institution(s): University of Oklahoma Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 10 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Humidity all night. Beg: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable, humidity spiked Mid: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: The humidity spiked around 10 pm (78% humidity outside and according to the 2.4m Data Display relative humidity was 92%) so I shut down the telescope for about an hour. Other than that, weather was good. Seeing ranged from bad to ok. Skies were clear with light to moderate winds and occasional gusts. There was a couple times during the night where the image did not save automatically to the computer. Restarting Prospero fixed this. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2013 Oct 14 [6:38:20]
