MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2014 Feb 27 Observer(s): Dan Gifford Institution(s): Michigan Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 9 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Skies were decent until ~11pm when the transparency became very poor. This caused more alignment troubles because some of the stars we chose on the mask I was on were faint and washed out. I eventually found the correct stars, but it took a while. Other than the sub-optimal weather, everything ran smoothly. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2014 Feb 28 [3:37:48]
