MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2014 Jan 02 Observer(s): Gianninas, Darsaklis Institution(s): University of Oklahoma Instrument: CCDS Worked for 10.5 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Overall it was another good night of observing with very good seeing despite a few cirrus clouds. This was my last night and overall I was extremely pleased with how well everything worked and 6.5 winter nights out of 7 is a great batting average. I had some trouble with telescope pointing and the CCD which cost me about 2 hours of observing.
