MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2014 Jan 10

Worked for 13 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

We had very good conditions and we observed without much trouble. We mainly observed high airmass targets. 
However the jskycalcguider software was again unreliable. We could find a guide star by manually moving with Xmis or 
by restarting Xmis and Jskycalc. There is also a very loud and high-pitched screaming noise probably coming from an encoder wheel as the telescope was pointing.
