MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2014 Jul 06 Observer(s): Carroll and Jones Institution(s): Dartmouth College Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 1 hours (first half of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Humidity from 1 until 6. Beg: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable, rain Mid: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable, dewpoint End: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable, high humidity Observing Summary: At the beginning of the night, the humidity was low enough to take instrument flats, although the sky was overcast with on and off showers so we were unable to observe. Toward the middle of the night it became partly cloudy, but the mirror and ambient temperature were less than 2 degrees above dewpoint, so we were unable to observe. As the night continued, the humidity became high preventing us from making any observations. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2014 Jul 7 [6:04:40]
